Welcome to our award winning Baby Signing Basics™ class from Little Signers Club®!

This is a fun and interactive course designed for parents and their babies (4-18 months) to learn how to communicate using sign language. Our class is led by an experienced instructor who is specialised in early childhood development and passionate about helping families foster better communication and stronger bonds.

In this class, you and your baby will learn a variety of signs for common words and phrases such as "more", "eat", "drink", "sleep", "play", "hug", and "love". By using sign language, your baby will be able to communicate their needs and desires before they are able to speak, which can help reduce frustration and promote early language development.

Our curriculum is carefully designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, with songs, stories, and activities that make learning fun for both babies and parents. In addition to learning signs, you will also receive tips and advice on how to incorporate sign language into your daily routine at home.

We offer a supportive and inclusive environment where parents can connect with other families and share their experiences. Whether you are new to sign language or have some prior experience, our classes are tailored to meet your individual needs and help you achieve your goals.

Who is this class for?
This class is taught in English with British Sign Language (BSL) but it doesn't matter if you don't speak English with your baby, you can still use baby signing to support their communication and language development.
The class is aimed at adults with babies aged between 4-18 months.
You can be a parent, grandparent, friend or nanny – everyone is welcome!
Can I bring siblings?
This class is aimed at babies 4-18 months but we understand it can be challenging to juggle the care of older brothers and sisters especially during school holidays. Please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate everyone's needs.
How long are the classes?
Babies aren't able to concentrate for long periods of time, so depending on the size of the group, we try to keep classes between 40-45 minutes long. There is then 15 minutes at the end of each session to ask questions and get to know the rest of the group for a bit of a chat and play.

The Steinhausen course consists of 10 classes for CHF250.
Tuesdays 10am-11am
The Unterägeri course consists of 9 classes for CHF225
This includes:
- a weekly 45 minute class to attend
- videos of each new sign sent to your phone
- handouts after each session with a checklist of things to learn and playful prompt activities to try at home
- Sign and Learn book to use at home
- certificates as your little one learns
